With over 48 years in the business and over 6,000 projects under its belt, O’Brien & Price Cheltenham Ltd has undertaken civil engineering and structural engineering projects throughout Gloucestershire and across the UK.
We’ve undertaken over 6,000 projects as structural engineers since we started the business in 1976. Below are some examples of our work.
O’Brien & Price Cheltenham Ltd has undertaken many projects for schools and colleges throughout the country, but especially in Gloucestershire, Herefordshire and Worcestershire.
This includes work for Pates Grammar School, Cheltenham College, Cheltenham Ladies College, Wycliffe College and numerous County Council supported schools.
Our work has encompassed diagnosing defects, specifying remedial measures and the design and detailing for extensions and new buildings.
There is as much variety in the forms of construction and challenges to be faced in the alteration, adaption or construction of new dwellings as in any other field. The practice has considerable experience of most building types:
As well as countless individual clients our work has included designs for a number of local and regional developers.
The practice has a long record of working on flour and paper mills, factories of many sorts and on the alteration of high street retail properties. This has included work for nationally and internationally known clients Shipton Mill, Wilkinsons Stores, Spirax Sarco and Kohler Mira.
We have worked with these companies for many years in part due to our ability to develop bespoke and practical solutions often working from first principles.
We have undertaken major projects at both Cheltenham General Hospital and Gloucester Royal Hospital over a period in excess of 25 years, as well as work on numerous smaller projects at the Hospitals and other facilities around the county.
